The Maharashtra Government has recently declared that it will be bestowing the esteemed ‘Udyog Ratna’ award upon the eminent industrialist and chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata, as announced by State Industries Minister Uday Samant. In addition to honoring Ratan Tata, the state government also revealed its plan to extend recognition to outstanding young entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, and exemplary Marathi entrepreneurs.
